Begonia brevirimosa subsp. exotica is considered one of the most showy of all begonia species. It is a rare, shrubby variety with olive green and metallic pink leaves. It can grow up to 3 meters tall.
Light: Begonias prefer bright indirect light but no direct sun. Sufficient light helps the leaves and flowers develop a more intense color. When light is too intense, the edges of the leaves of Begonia curl and turn brown.
Soil: Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water.
Temperature: 50 to 85 degrees.
