Reindeer moss (lichen), can become brittle if exposed to dry air or heating vents—especially when humidity drops below 40%. This is temporary; once humidity is restored, it will regain its soft, spongy texture. Avoid placing your moss wall near HVAC vents and gently dust occasionally to keep it looking fresh.
