HOSPITALITY AND RESTAURANTS
Botanical environments designed for the guest experience and the operating floor.
Trendy Gardener creates interior plantscapes and preserved botanical features for restaurants, hotels, bars, private clubs, event venues, and hospitality interiors where atmosphere matters—but service traffic, food and beverage operations, lighting, cleaning, and nightly presentation cannot be compromised.

The design must work from every guest-facing angle
Hospitality spaces are viewed in motion, across tables, through reflective surfaces, under changing day and evening light, and increasingly through photographs. Plants and botanical features should frame the experience, reinforce the concept, and remain visually strong without blocking service, signage, sightlines, or guest comfort.
Hospitality applications
- Entry, host stand, and arrival sequence
- Dining-room plant compositions and spatial dividers
- Bars, lounges, private dining, and event spaces
- Hotel lobbies, concierge zones, and public areas
- Rooftop and seasonal patio plant programs where appropriate
- Preserved moss walls and branded botanical installations
- Living walls with engineered lighting and irrigation
- Orchid and botanical rotations
- Holiday and event-specific installations
Operational constraints are design inputs
- Table turnover and staff circulation
- Cleaning chemicals and nightly cleaning routines
- Heat from kitchens, doors, windows, and equipment
- Low ambient evening light and required plant lighting
- Guest contact and container stability
- Installation outside service hours
- Fire, egress, food-safety, and local-code coordination where applicable
- Maintenance access without disrupting service
Live, preserved, or hybrid
Live plants provide growth, movement, and seasonal change where the environment can support them. Preserved botanical installations provide material depth where light, water, or service access is limited. Hybrid programs use both strategically instead of forcing one medium across the entire property.
Designed to remain camera-ready
Hospitality plant service is calibrated to presentation. Grooming, pruning, replacement, cleaning, and rotation decisions are made before decline becomes part of the guest experience or the property’s photography.
Questions Prospects Ask Before Moving Forward
Are live plants appropriate in restaurants?
Yes, when placement, containers, hygiene, service access, light, and pest prevention are properly managed. Plants should not interfere with food preparation, egress, cleaning, or staff circulation.
Is a preserved moss wall maintenance-free?
It does not require watering, soil, or plant light, but it still needs appropriate indoor conditions, protection from direct contact and moisture, and periodic inspection or light cleaning according to the material.
Can installation happen overnight or on a closed day?
Often, yes. Scheduling depends on freight, access, wall or planter preparation, equipment, noise, cure times, safety, and the scope of work. The installation plan should be developed with operations before dates are promised.
