THE SIGNATURE COLLECTION
Sculptural plants. Singular vessels. Living objects with provenance.
Signature Plant Installations pair exceptional plant specimens with globally sourced artisan vessels—pieces with history, character, aged surfaces, and handmade irregularities that cannot be duplicated. Each pairing is selected for one room and installed as a permanent element of the interior.

More than a large houseplant
A signature installation is selected for silhouette, maturity, trunk and branching character, leaf scale, movement, and relationship to the room. The vessel is considered with equal rigor: material, age, finish, craftsmanship, dimensions, weight, liner, and installation method all affect the result.
The vessel library
- Hand-thrown and aged terracotta
- Carved limestone and stone troughs
- Vintage, antique, and architectural containers
- Sculptural ceramic and glazed vessels
- Concrete, metal, and fiberglass forms
- Custom liners, inserts, pedestals, and protective bases
Designed around access and permanence
Large specimens and stone vessels can exceed ordinary residential delivery conditions. Door clearances, stairs, elevators, turning radii, floor loading, surface protection, final planter weight, and future maintenance access are reviewed before the piece is approved.
Installation details matter
The plant may require a custom soil blend, internal liner, drainage layer, sub-irrigation component, staking, structural stabilization, and selected top dressing. The final installation is finished on site so the plant, substrate, and vessel read as one object.
For clients who prefer the irreplaceable
These installations are not built from unlimited matching inventory. The character of the vessel and the form of the available specimen shape the commission. That scarcity is part of the value: the finished piece cannot be exactly repeated in another home or project.
Questions Prospects Ask Before Moving Forward
Can I choose the exact plant and vessel?
Yes, within the design and performance requirements of the space. Trendy Gardener presents qualified pairings rather than an unrestricted catalog. Availability, dimensions, access, light, and long-term care may eliminate otherwise attractive options.
How are large specimens delivered?
Delivery is planned around the plant dimensions, vessel weight, access route, floor protection, personnel, lifting equipment, and final placement. Complex installations may require a separate delivery plan or specialty mover.
Is ongoing care required?
Professional care is strongly recommended for high-value specimens and complex installations. Residential Plant Concierge can manage watering, pruning, nutrition, pest monitoring, rotation, repotting, and environmental adjustments.
