Refunds & Returns Policy (Trendy Gardener)

Effective date: January 23, 2026

This policy explains which items are eligible for returns, how to report shipping damage, and how refunds are handled. By placing an order with Trendy Gardener, you agree to the terms below.


1) Custom Orders: Final Sale

All custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.
This includes (but is not limited to) made-to-order items, personalized items, custom-sized pieces, custom color/finish selections, and specially sourced products.


2) Live Plants: Final Sale + 24-Hour Issue Reporting

Live plants are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Due to the perishable nature of live goods and the impact of transit conditions, we cannot accept live plants back once shipped.

Live Plant Arrival Issues (24 hours)

If a live plant arrives damaged, unhealthy, or incorrect, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the plant from multiple angles
  • Photos of the packaging (shipping box + packing materials)

If reported within the 24-hour window and approved, Trendy Gardener may offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement (if available), or
  • Store credit, or
  • A partial refund (when appropriate)

Claims submitted after 24 hours may be denied.


3) Damaged Orders: 24-Hour Reporting Requirement (All Items)

If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damage
  • Photos of the packaging (shipping box + packing materials)

If damage is not reported within 24 hours, the order may not be eligible for resolution.


4) Carrier Damage, Claims, and Delays Outside Our Control

Once a package leaves our hands and is in the carrier’s possession, damage that occurs in transit must be handled through the carrier’s claims process.

Trendy Gardener will guide you on how to file a claim with the carrier, but:

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by the carrier.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.

5) Defective Products

If an item is defective (a manufacturing defect or functional failure not caused by shipping), contact us as soon as possible at info@trendygardenclub.com with your order number and photos/video showing the issue.

If approved, defective items may be eligible for a return, replacement, store credit, or refund (at Trendy Gardener’s discretion and subject to availability).


6) 7-Day Returns (Eligible Non-Custom Merchandise Only)

For non-custom, non-perishable items, return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Item must be returned with original packaging and all parts/accessories (if applicable)
  • Return must be approved in writing before shipping back
  • Proof of purchase is required

Trendy Gardener reserves the right to deny returns that show signs of use, wear, damage, missing parts, odors, soil/water exposure, or altered condition.


7) Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom orders (final sale)
  • Live plants (final sale)
  • Items marked Final Sale or Clearance
  • Gift cards and digital products (if applicable)
  • Any item returned outside the 7-day return window
  • Any item returned without written approval

8) Return Shipping Costs + Return Address

All approved returns must be shipped back at the customer’s expense.
Return shipping costs are not covered or reimbursed.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. Trendy Gardener is not responsible for returns lost in transit.


9) Free Shipping Promotions

If your order included free shipping (or discounted shipping) and you return eligible items, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund, unless the return is due to a verified defect.


10) Refund Method and Processing Time

If your return is approved and received in acceptable condition, refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

After the return is delivered back to Trendy Gardener, please allow time for inspection and processing. Banks and payment providers may take additional time to post the refund.

Original shipping charges (if any) are not refundable.


11) Exchanges

Trendy Gardener does not guarantee exchanges. If you need a different item, the preferred process is:

  1. Request a return (if eligible), then
  2. Place a new order

12) Address Accuracy, Returned Packages, and Delivered-but-Missing

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. If an order is returned to sender, undeliverable, or requires rerouting due to address errors, the customer is responsible for carrier fees and reshipment costs. Any eligible refund may be reduced by shipping and carrier fees.

If tracking shows Delivered but you did not receive the package, you must contact the carrier to pursue next steps. Trendy Gardener is not responsible for theft or loss after confirmed delivery.


13) How to Start a Return or Report an Issue

Email info@trendygardenclub.com with:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) involved
  • Reason for return/issue
  • Photos (required for damage/defects) including packaging when applicable

If approved, you will receive return instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
